I think I may have a problem...

Well, my wife thinks I do...

"Technically" the HHR is my wife’s car... Anyway, whenever I drive it, I cant help but drive fast!

I have a Dodge Dakota V8 that I drive normally...
I have a Mustang Convertible that I drive normally...

But every time I get in the HHR I am hauling-ass, its like some sort of compulsion. When ever I take a steep turn I do it FAST. It freaks my wife out, and I feel bad about it... BUT IT SURE IS FUN!

On the way back from Vegas, before I knew it I was crusing at 100mph. Just something about this car, I don't know what it is, but i LIKE IT. Well, that is until I get a ticket...

My situation is the opposite. I've had my car for two weeks now, and the wife took it out for the first time yesterday. When she got back all she could say is 'wow' and said she needed to go out and pick up something somewhere else. Needless to say she went out 4 more times yesterday, and I don't have to defend my reasoning why I wanted to pay extra for the SS over the LS. Before she 'stole' my car they were the same car in her head.

Now I have to worry about her wanting me to take her mini-van.

Lou, I feel your pain. I always feel like flooring my Blackie (ok, I want to hear the cgs purr! ), but it is too easy to just step on the gas, and before you know it, you're going over 80 mph. I don't remember if you have a sway bar on it yet or not, but it makes taking corners more fun!

I tell you, even almost a year later, I still look for any excuse to go for a drive and/or look for the longest route to get wherever I'm going.

See you soon!

Agreed!
I was moving a lot faster before that first speeding ticket.
This car just gets there too quick!

Nope, no sway bar just yet.

I want to lower with the Eibach kit, and get that sway bar. I just need to come up with the funds... UGH, so frustrating...

Sway bar is the least expensive mod and the easiest to put on!

Hope your classes are going well--this doctoral program is kicking my a**!
(But I did get an A in one class--don't expect that from this current one )

See you Saturday??

I've been waiting for McGuire's for a couple of months now, I am planning on it. Crossing fingers that nothing comes up between now and then...

You have learned that the HHR is NOT a car...it is a way of life. And when you get the anti-sway bar, watch out...you will LOVE to take turns FAST!!! Ooooo...nice!

I love my HHR.
