I was at the dealer this morning to get some work done and was looking at their cars on the lot. I was checking out an SS and I noticed that they actually have the window controls on the door.

I had to check the sticker to see if it was a 2009. Nope, 2008. I guess they got next years doors before the other models did. That's one of my few dislikes of my HHR so far. I hate the window switches on the center console.

BTW, they only had one 5-speed manual SS and about 4 automatics.

 

It is new on the SS....
It will be on all 09 HHR's

 

They actually did this for a reason on the SS. They moved them to the doors so they could move the shifter forward and up a bit on the manual SS.

 

well couldnt we just put those door panels on ours? I mean really arent they the same? would just have to rewire the switches

 

I kinda like the window controls on the consol...it's different.
