Suprisingly Lynchburg is a dry town. Everything they sell has JD in it or is JD related but you can't actually buy it there. I toured the JD plant when I was like 16. You can buy JD fruit cake there.

They had a "Cruise for the Cure" for St Judes Hospital in June. 10 bucks and you could take 5 laps. A few more guys from here also ran there. A lot of fun.

Since KY Dave hasn't answered yet, I'll take the opportunity. Occasionally, they have a day where you can do 10 laps for somewhere around $25. Of course, you have to follow the pace car. If you've never experienced Bristol in person, I would highly recommend it. There is nothing else in the world like it.
