ice possible

i know this sounds stupid but this morning i was heading to work at 6am and the temp said 31. Every 10mins. the DIC came on and said "ice possible". i have never seen this in my hhr or my 05 cobalt(i think the DIC is the same). has anyone else see this or was i seeing things??

I've seen it, but it should only come on once when you start the car. It's kinda silly when it's -10F out and the system reminds you that ice is possible

LOL LMAO not the only floridian that was surprised by that. I had never seen it in my car either until a few months ago.. I heard the ding, and was like dam i have no gas or door was open , then i look down. LOL funny florida people , i love how all over the news they were all concerned about the 32 degree weather,

lol, yea well its only got below 32 5times in the last 5 years so yea i just wanted to make sure it wasnt just me.......i dont know how you guys live up there...i'm a meter reader for FPL and was outside all day 40 degree and thought i was about to die...

20 man thats warm. The highest temp I saw today was 10. There is a thread here about coldest temp on the DIC, some people have taken pics at around -22
