I think that is just a good use of your HHR. There is a lot of room and with the hard plastic not much to damage so go for it. Wear the REDNECK badge proudly 8)

hauling firewood?

Don't have any pics but I have hauled firewood several times....I can advise not to leave it in car over night....else the humidity released from the wood will be dripping from all the glass
