If you were rich, would you still own an HHR?

I may not be stinkin rich but I could have bought a more expensive car and to be honest was planning to send up to $10 more when I was looking around.
I bought the SS because it was fun to drive practical, looked good and got good mileage.
Buying the SS was against a lot of thing I stand for like RWD and non 4 cylinders engines. The test drive sold me and I did not even look at the price or care about the FWD or 4 cylinder.
I have never really ever owned or driven normal cars as a daily driver. What I always have had were something just a little extra for the most part. Cars are not just trasportation to me they are something to be enjoyed and so far I can say that with my HHR SS.
I was looking at a Camaro, G8, Sky or another truck. I really needed a replacment for my Pick up truck and the HHR fit 80% of that need but added to the fun to drive part by 80%.
I like to think of it as my American Mini.
The fact is there are fewer cars all the time out their and what ones I would consider buying are expensive and I would not daily drive them anyway. I still would have had to buy somethiong like the SS for a daily driver.

If I had lots of money, probably not. The HHR SS is a compromise for me between performance and practicality. And a damn good one. But, if I had the money I'd just have more cars . Probably something like a G8GT or Vette for fun and a GMC Acadia or Honda Pilot for the more practical days. Oh and I'd also probably have a full-size GM truck too.

I don't know. The HHR is a very practical car as a primary driver. I have always worked my butt off all my life so I appreciate the valuse of a $. I really don't think I need a pricey car to drive to the grocery store. But if I was that rich, someone else would be to shopping etc. I never have been one who feels the need to show off or to impress others.
