Oh man...the downside of the black HHR...PITA to keep it clean! It has become an obsession--albeit a therapeutic one, to keep my Blackie sparkling.
But I tell you, its worth the extra effort to keep him spiffed up--don't stress, keep a soft terry towel and some handy spot cleaner in the back (I'm partial to Maguier's Quick touch up), and you can keep your little black beauty happy too!

Yep, I am..I'm a noob to the HHR community, granted I've been lurking for roughly a week or two I can offically say as of today, 5pm that I now own a 2008 Chevy HHR LT, black with grey interior! No pics yet but I've had the biggest sh*t eating grin on my face since I picked her up. I traded in my worn and tired 03 Lancer and got a awesome deal! My car was only worth 5k and they gave me 6250 for my car, I also got my LT for $16,250, I had a very slim roll over of 500 bucks which was no big deal, I'm looking forward to hanging around and learning as much as possible from everyone!
$16,250? Seems high since I got mY 2008 SS for $12,998 from a CarMax in California. But yours looks nice in the pics you posted below, congrats!
