My son's personalized tag on his Ranger 4x4 is "GOT MUD". Needless to say he usually does.

I stopped washing mine every time it got dirty, like you can go crazy doing that and run up the water bill. Like everyone, I got mine to drive and haul my dogs around when I want. One dog goes with me everywhere.

I rember watching one of the Overhauling episodes, one of Cottingtons friends have some restored cars, he burns out with them and drives them, he figures, I paid to have them retored and to drive, not to just look at. If I break something, I get it fixed.

As a matter of fact, Yes.

Thanks for the support. I did break down and wash the Atomic Pumpkin today. I was going to wait until this weekend but decided that that time could be put to better use by going on a ride

Yeah don't worry about it. I already got a couple shopping cart dings on mine.
I enjoy the car and really enjoy making it mine. But I refuse to let it control my well being. LOL. A good PDR guy and its perfect. But I won't do that until I'm ready to sell it. Why bother?

Enjoy the car , Don't stress over it. IN the end, it's only a car.

I'm still not over it. It bugs the heck out of me when my car is dirty. I love to keep it clean and shiny. It gets quite a bit of attention when it's really clean, which I like. In fact I'm learning how to detail cars to keep mine looking the best I can for as long as I can. Obsessed? Perhaps.

I'm over my obsession with keeping it clean.. got no choice with the fires here in so cal, I've got a nice coat of fine ash all over the Toy.

But where I get obsessive is where people seem to have a lack of respect for other people's property. The other day @ morning break I came outside and found a coworker leaning back on the hood of my car smoking a cigarette. This guy just didn't get it. I first asked him nicely to get off my car and he laughed and kept leaning against my car. I wound up yelling into his face...problem solved.

Wow! That dude has a lot of nerve. I'm not sure I could have asked nicely the first time if it were my car
