What is the little round plastic thing in the headliner just a few inches from the mirror? It looks like a vent.

Since you didn't state a specific year car or post a picture, I'll take a guess. Maybe you're asking about the microphone for the Bluetooth system?

Is it the light which shines down on to the waterfall? Comes on when the headlights are on.

Mike and Woody. You guys are saying OnStar. So, is that the same mic for the Bluetooth, or is there a seperate one for each.

(Dang these modern day electronics and my 70's mechanical know how.)
