Some plastic parts have a recycle graphic that identifies the type of plastic.




ABS is a common plastic used on interior trim pieces.

As stated in a previous post, the locktite epoxy for plastic would be a good choice.
​​​​​​​I have used it successfully on structural plastic repairs.

On a side not about chemicals and plastics--never use locktite type (anerobic)thread locker around polycarbonate palstic.
It will cause the plastic to crumble in a few days.

Consider heat welding. ABS and plastics turn to glue when melted.
