That’s a good possibility, Don
it is also plausible the H13’s are done! I’ve switched to LED bulbs, no more burnt headlamp bulbs, it’s only been a year but , I went through several sets of those Sylvania bulbs . Don wasn’t it those same Sylvania bulbs you got refunds for?

When Silverlites first came out they did not have the longevity chart on the package. That led people to believe "more expensive means longer life" when the opposite is true. I had bought 2 sets, the class action has paid me back my full purchase price now 4 checks.

Fact is the hotter the bulb the shorter the life. Price is based on the heat of the bulb not life. An inverse relationship.

You've only posted about control arms, and now headlights. But you say you're tired of continually wrenching on it.

What else have you had to do? Perhaps something you've worked on is related to this headlight issue.

Or perhaps you're touching the bulb with your fingers or otherwise contaminating the bulb. This causes bulbs to burn out quickly.

That makes them explode not wear out prematurely.

Don't get insulted, I don't know you and lots of long time owners never noticed the DRL. Do you understand how the auto lights work?
I didn't take offense to this. I do fully understand auto lights and I do know that some are super sensitive. This is happening when it is pitch dark out and I don't live in a very well lit area. My DRL worked when I checked them after work and so does the lights when I unlock with the key fob. When I tried to turn the high beams on it kicked my fog lights off like normal but never kicked the high beams on. After 10 minutes of driving they popped back on and stayed on.

I did not get the silver lites because I've heard that they are a waste of money

I know not to touch the bulbs with my fingers... Just because I asked about 2 things doesn't mean that's all I have done. I've had the car for less than a year and it's got new fuel lines, brake lines, 2 new wheel hub assemblies, swaybar bushings, endlinks, struts, tierod ends, ball joints and some other bushings to name a few things. None of those are even close to anything with the headlights.

Either could happen. But apparently not the cause this time.

If the bulbs are confirmed good then time to check for a broken or loose ground wire.
Loose fuse box halves or faulty headlight multiswitch.

I have already gone through the wiring, replaced the fuses and checked for looseness there when it was just the drivers side headlight and all was fine but when I get some time I will run through it one more time. Would the bad multiswitch cause one headlight to go out on occasion and still allow me to go through all the headlight modes correctly when both were out? This whole problem can go days with out issues then all of a sudden have multiple problems in one drive. The really concerning problem is now having both go out.
