It's broken in now.....

my 1st scratch was from a tree branch in Feb., at 1st I thought I lucked out big time, a big pine tree branch broke durning some strong winds and got hung up on a lower branch just inches above my roof and did not crash into the roof of my HHR but a few days later while washing the HHR I noticed two spots scratched up (through the clearcoat from what I can tell)...well I plan to have it detail to see if they can clear up most of it.

i have a small dent on the hood on the drivers side above my script where some NIMROD either set something on it or tripped and used my HHR as a brace on top. this was at a convention.
cool thing is i will get it out myself when i do the PDR school.

I noticed I now have the dredded beauty bar dent. did the dealership charge you or is chevy admitting it is a design flaw and picking up the tab?

Guido...............design flaw. You crack me up. There is absolutely NOTHING WRONG with the DESIGN of the HHR. Ask GM, they'll tell you.

The dealership repaired it for free but they didn't say it was a design flaw or GMs fault. Actually the head of their body shop was kind of surprised because he said it is reinforced in that area to prevent it from happening. They did make me wait about two months seeing as how the vehicle was so new at that point to see if a TSB came out addressing the issue. After telling him that I was sick of waiting he spoke to someone at GM and repaired it the next week.
