My first was on the car when I got it.
Had a tiny scratch on the driver's side rear door.
I told them I didn't care I just wanted my car.
They were supposed to buff it out at a later date but never did.

My second came a few weeks later when I rear ended a Buick and smashed up my front end. :rolleyes:

I think when I take it in for the final seal coat in a couple of weeks, I'll ask about them getting that little scratch while they're at it.

 

I, well my wife, just missed getting the first "big" scratch...a cement truck slid right up to the back of the HHR, so close that she clould feel the ground shaking through the brake pedal, that would have been ugly!!!

 

I understand how your wife felt. I was backing out of a parking spot at the grocery store and someone nearly hit my car. I am always very careful to look before I back up and this car just came out of nowhere. Thank god the HHR has great brakes...cuz I matted them to the floor and avoided a collision. Scared the crap out of my boyfriend and I and needless to say, he gave them a salute.

 

Do you need some special cleaning product to clean your seats after soiling your shorts?

 

Too funny....but the seats and my shorts fared pretty well under the cirmstances.

 

I have had my share of small | | dents....

 

 

Anybody tried fixing the dents by the rear bowtie yourself? If so, how?

I was able to get the dent at one end of the accent piece to pop back out just by pulling on the handle. But the other end no such luck.

 

Just a suggestion - start a new thread for this, the last post was almost 3 years ago... the thread is dead.

 

That's the beauty of buying used!! The first couple dings are already there for you! You know what you're getting.. Mine only has a few scuffs on the passenger side that were touched up, but nothing too noticeable. I figured, it's got all the options I want, and it's perfect for me, it's 3 years old...I should cut some slack!
