It's time to buy an HHR

Ok guys, the time has come to buy the HHR. My wife and I were out looking on Sat. and drove a couple HHRs and loved the way it drives and looks. We were also very impressed with the interior room front and back and the utility was the thing that swayed our vote the the HHR.

We're searching for our HHR in the Austin, TX area and our list of must haves are in no particular order:
1) Fog lights
2) Alloy wheels
3) XM w/MP3 CD player
4) 2.4L engine
5) Auto

I'm wanting to buy a low mileage 07 used. What price would you guys consider a good deal?

Must have running boards!! Your rear fenders will get eaten up by road debris if you don't. Damnit I wish I would have made a thread like this befor I bought mine.

Austin, Texas owner here to be very honest in my opinion you will get a much better deal if you buy a 2007 new as Chevy has some rebates that will more then likely bring the price down below what someone would need to sale theirs to break even. If your looking for a panel I doubt you will find one used as they have only been available for a few months. If you want to call me I'll be glad to give you my number. Also if you do go with a new HHR you can get extra cash going online threw their internet department. I got a great deal doing so, and worked with two separate dealerships, I took the time to do research and talk to the service departments at both dealers. I have taken our car into the service department where we bought it for a small issue with the key fob I was very impressed with their service. Please let me know if I can be any help, and oh yeah welcome to the site you should enjoy all the helpful members and good information you will gain here.

Funny you should mention them, we're going around with Chapion right now about my wifes truck. The service guy I'm talking to seemd friendly enough but they take forever to return calls and have a hard time doing what they say thier going to do.

We dropped the truck off Sat for service and spent a few hours looking at HHRs. We couldn't make a deal then so the sales lady said she'd do a search and get back with us on monday. Well it's wed. and we haven't heard a thing.
