The review seems to state that the HHR is more than the sum of its parts, and is generally positive. Given that the HHR was designed as a cheap niche vehicle (not a $40k+ SSR), it achieves a lot with what it's based on, and has been selling far better than expected. For what I paid for mine, I couldn't ask for more...maybe a quieter engine, but that's about all.

it seems he has suceeded in what he set out to do. as an hhr owner, and proud of it, lets move beyound this and accept that there are people out there who get their kicks from this.lifes full of opinionated people.ignore the issue and it will go away. if there is no response to his thread then its purpose is void. just my thought though

Sounds like envy to me. You hate the HHR but yet join an HHR only forum and have posted well over 200 posts. Dude, get a life and stay in the role play chat rooms.

wanted one...waited for hhr ss...over priced here and been reading up on the many problems. i will continue to read up as much as i like. Ban me and i will just get another name/email and re-join..if i feel like it. p.s.---not a GM hater...owned gm/chrysler/toyota/nissan/ford.....driven all types of cars from vettes to ferraris. etc. The japanese were all the most trouble free and reliable. Dealt with many many car owners..most regretted buying chrysler/gm/ford products. please insert your crying/whining here>>>>___________.
