No crying, the rear fullfilled it's mission. Any time you see how intact the cabin is vs something else, you can feel good about how that part fullfilled its mission in life, to take one for the owner. I remember one time, I gave a little "love tap" to the rear end of a Honda with my '78 Camaro (it was around a 83'ish Honda Civic, this was back in 1984) and while I had a broken grill, and the T-Bird that I pushed the Civic into had their rear lic. plate knocked off, the Honda I pushed between us squished like an accordian. Windows popped out, doors buckled, it was a lot of damage for a low mph crash. Ever since then, I appreciated how minor the damage was when I was rear-ended - twice I was stopped at a light, someone came up and hit me, and twice I was waiting to turn left, with signal on, and someone came up and hit me. All GM vechicles, all minor damage - the rear bumper gave up its life so that I can live...exactly what it is supposed to do!
