Are you sure it's an SS wheel? Shouldn't it have the SS emblem in the center? Or did you replace it w/ the original from your old wheel?

Thanks for the clarification.

Do you still have the original wheel to get an actual comparison of the diameters?

haha, jx3 brought up first thing i noticed too. i sat here thinking "where is the SS badge in the middle?" didn't realize the airbag was the same, though now that i think about it, i don't see why it wouldn't be. the wheel is identical aside from diameter, and minor changes to accomodate such. looks good, and glad the wheel controls worked out too. i drive plenty of LS and LT HHRs at work, and the smaller wheel in the SS is SO much nicer to drive with.

what's the difference between that and the 2LT steering wheel? looks just like my steering wheel except yours is ebony, and I can see the stitching.

Similar steering wheels will be used on various cars. Mine looks just like it and came off a 07 Cobalt.

Looks great, Chad!

You know, I noticed a difference in the steering wheel thickness depending on year.

When Don helped me put on the leveling springs, I had him drive Blackie to see how he felt the springs and I drove his 08. I noticed immediately that his steering wheel was much thicker then on my 07--except for year, we have identical 2LT's.

I commented on it and he said he noticed the difference in the circumference as well.

Just an observation...
