Just wondering

Getting under the hood of my 1LT with the 2.4 ltr, I noticed just behind the radiator appears to be a vacumn to that is open. It is there with some wires, but the tee is not hooked to anything and it does not have a cap on it. It is just a little bit to the drivers side of the radiator. Anybody else seen this or are yours hooked up to something?

This one?

It is an extra fitting - nothing to worry about.

It wouldn't be for power steering - the HHR has electric steering!

(Thanks for the props on the intake!)

That is a nice job on the intake Mike. It looks like your filter is just hanging over on the passenger side though. Did you not run a tube down to the grill area for additional airflow?

That's where the "paint erosion detector" is supposed to attach....but that's another "unmentioned necessary option"
