Just got my Oil Changed at the Dealer

Sticker has a big Penzoil Logo
And it says "5w30red"

Not sure what the red means, maybe I should ask for Sunburst Orange next time?

Mobil 1 5w30 since first oil change at 1000 miles. I agree there is nothing wrong with traditional oil, it is just a personal preference. We have a 1996 Astro van that is still going strong at 300K miles. The only engine work we have done is changing the intake manifold gaskets around 175k. They were leaking. It has had M1 in it since the second oil change, we did a blend with first change.

Nothing but M-1 5w30 full synthetic in any of my cars, going on 30 years now. You can buy more expensive, but M-1 has proven to be a leader in many indipendant studies.

Peanut oil mostly, it doesnt stick to what you are frying as bad as vegatable oil and doesn't mask the foods natural flavor like canola. However if I am making popcorn I use sunflower oil.

may have been too hungry to answer this question with a clear head....

Hmm. I get to be the first Valvoline 5w30 user. Been using it from my time in Hawaii in the early 70's and stock car racing. Been thinking of going to Rotella synthetic.

:twothumbs..... OOps got caught by the image cop!!!!

Amsoil 5W30 for me. I would use M1, but my brother is a Amsoil dealer.
