K+N install not good

The holes in the intake didn't match up to the 2 holes in the mass air sensor so I had to drill out the holes. While doing that I nicked the side of the sensor. Put some silicone over it let it dry then installed it. Don't like the way the filer connects to the intake very loose. Had to use a big screw driver to get the 2 holes in the cover lined up so I could secore the top.

Started the car no code but I'm waiting till tomorrw to try driving it. I want to make sure the silicone is dry.

Cannot recommend it.

Ordered a new sensor just in cae.

I hate to say this, BUT, if you turned the sendor 180 degrees, it would have fit. at least this is my guess since I've dealt with a number of them.

This make sure air flows over it the right way.

I took it apart and it was installed as the instructions show.
