I used thin pieces of aluminium foil on the carbon contacts. Also Canadian Tire sells the outside shell for $15.00. Now the Fob works great. Save me $130.00 for a new!

 

You could also get them for a better price from say Amazon or Ebay. FWIW.

 

I replaced the rubber keypad with one I bought on eBay for $5.59 including shipping.
