"Press" does not necessarily mean a hydraulic press. The tools are usually available for loan at AutoZone/Advance/O'Reilly etc.

That’s like the press tool I have! Donbrew was that you taking photos in my garage? And some times , I use an old brake rotor for an anvil and a part of the tool to pound out the old bushings, along with my BFH !

I have determined that my ball joint press tool parts don’t really fit the Moog problem solver bushings, so, I use the old metal ring from the old rubber bushing, place a piece of 1/4 inch plate steel over it and drive the bushing into the LCA from the side with the bump on it, that is about the stopping point for the bushing, I install with the Moog logo and part number up.

I tried that kit to remove the oem bushings and couldn't get it to work.

The adapters didn't fit properly and it also didn't have enough power to move the old bushing before it got all kockeyed. Monkey and a football scenario.
It might work installing the new with a proper fitting bushing.

I ended up turning a 2" long Stainless .250 walled piece of tubing to fit the oem with a shoulder for removal and on the other end turning it to properly fit the Moog bushing for install.
Access to a lathe is golden.

That's what I used for both removal and install. Best way by far. Kept everything aligned perfectly start to finish. Worthwhile finding access to one.

That's good profit, if only labor
If one is set up, no more than 1/2 hour for both, tops.

@Oldblue Thank you

@donbrew That's one of the kits I have available to me. (And most likely to be used.)
