Heading out on the road tomorrow morning, leaving this cold weather behind, driving south to Baton Rouge then west to Houston, San Antinio, El Paso, Tucso and Phoenix (Sedona/Grand Canyon).

Any recommendations on suggestions as to sights to see, places to visits, side trips to take while on route, are all welcomed and appreciated.

El Paso

Tips: Stay on the US side of the border. Don't be in EP when night falls. Try not to breath in the evenings (when the Ciudad Juarez pollution falls back to earth).

San Antonio
1. Caves galore... Natural Bridge Caverns, The Cave Without a Name, Cascade Caverns, etc.
2. Everyone says "Riverwalk." I'll save you some time... meandering water and sidewalks, lots of shops, mediocre food, tourists galore.


Houston
1. drive around and be amazed at the complete lack of zoning
2. go here-- Doneraki Restaurant
3. eat
4. eat
