I tried those also. the highest powered "Ultra-Bright" 25 LED replacement bulbs were no match for the stock incandescent bulbs. Also, with the fluting in the B/U lens, the only way you could tell they were LED's was by the "dim" light!

I think some aftermarket "vintage" housings and lenses will be the ticket!

I would like to see a ring of red LED's in the top AND bottom lenses, and leave the stock bulbs in place. That would be a neat look.

Very helpful test. I was looking into putting in some LED tail lights and/or Sylvania SilverStar headlights in my HHR (I had the SilverStars in my ION - they didn't seem to help that much either). Now I know I can spend $40 or more for better things than light bulbs that don't help anything.

Yeah, those H13 bulbs are pretty scarce right about now.

Led tail lights

I want a halo of red led's for my tail lights.Does anybody have any ideas for speaker boxes that wont cut into my cargo area to much.I'd like to see some pics of custom boxes if anyone has any.
