yea...wierd...cuz i dont just always use the plate to close it.. i use the whole door i guess....no dents...

I also use the whole door... will have to go look for dents now....
and a pocket..... will look for that also.....

This gives me concern if I ever have to replace the gas cartridges for the hatch. On my Firebird, w/new cartridges, the hatch was a bear to close until after a few open/close cycles. Although at present,the HHR hatch is easy to close. I wonder if in the future with replacements this denting might become a problem if the hatch becomes harder (like the firebird) to close than it is right now.
