Anyone else annoyed with the size of the front armwrests? Anyone have a remedy? something to slip over or strap on top to make a bigger surface for driver & passanger? just curious

Might be possible unless you have a five speed. You need that space between the arm rests for shifting.

I installed an armrest in my 5-speed SS . Theres a couple of pics in my gallery. click on my camera.

I've been driving an 09 lt HHR for the last week, as my SS is in the shop getting some warranty issues taken care of. And the stock arm rest on the automatics are way to short, I find them to be a waste. IMO

I must have grown accustomed to mine. I don't notice it anymore.

I never use the arm rest but I would love to have had a console storage area. The dash storage is ok but I would like something bigger.
