How long is long? I have car in my garage that gets very little use as it sits for 6-9 months. If you can get indoor storage that is a good place for it as the sun is brutal on the tires. I keep it covered just to keep the dust off it. If you have any rodent problems add moth balls or something that keeps them out of the car.

Right now I plain on keeping this car forever taking it out maybe once a year for upkeep and repairs. We just found out he has stage 4 liver and bone cancer so keeping this car and bring it out after it is a classic and telling the stories about how he ordered it new and enjoyed this car so much to my grandkids sounds very cool to me.
