Welcome to the site Zora! Some things I would look at: Like mentioned before make sure you are getting full boost when hard on the throttle (15 psi or so when stock). The limited slip differential is a great option to have and helps get the power to the road. The stage 1 or GM turbo upgrade is offered by GM as an aftermarket performance upgrade and does not void any existing warranty. If the car has any aftermarket mods (GM upgrade, Upper motor mount, down pipe...etc.) this may be an indication of a car that was driven hard. In any case good Luck and go with your gut (and a lengthy test drive)

Stage 1 is the turbo up grade the factory offers silver 87 mentioned what to look for you can tune without it and the difference is greater on the automatic I believe Batman can testify what it does for 5 speed Probably the best advice was 843 look it over well you want one that was well cared for as your blank canvass you can add anything else you want believe me there are quite a few things you might want to do or not its a awesome little race wagon to start with.

hello guys first post. two weeks ago i bought a GM Certified Used 08 auto SS with 39K for $13,300. they were asking $13,900. came with a Pioneer NAV system too. i added a 50K extended GM bumper to bumper protection plan for $1500. out the door grand total after tax, title bla bla bla was just under $16K. i never drove a vette so i'm not sure what you will think, but i came from a Durango and man this car is fun to drive! 30 MPG rocket ship.

This one has to be the same one, because it's at a dealer in Goshen and is listed at $15,895. The listing shows that it's an automatic as well as the interior pics. It has the sunroof and gray trim interior. Nice combo. I know that you mentioned a 5-speed at the beginning of the thread. If it's the same car, let us know which it actually was, auto or fiver... And good luck! P.S, the dealer site had the CarFax on this car and it's clean as a baby's butt.
