Looking for door lock knobs

Does anyone know of a vendor who still carries the shorter door lock knobs, or can someone point me to another aftermarket knob set that will work without cutting?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got mine from http://thehhrstore.com/. About $10 for a pair. You'll have to cut the rods to get the knobs flush, but I didn't want mine that short and installed them as is. Easy install. Took only about 10 mins.

Anodized aluminum,
$2.50 knitting needles, Cut to fit, also cut the original rod's so they would be flush when locked, And to avoid lose of blood upon resting arm there.

Ahh the ol' knitting needle... I like

They look awesome Batman

Crochet hooks have a blunter end but only come in a few colors at 8mm

If you want flush locks you have to cut the original rod

these are the ones I'm using now... 8mm aluminum rod. cut one an angle, drilled and siliconed. rod was $8 for 12"

I've checked their site a few times and it always says, "We regret to say that these are not available at this time."

If I pull the knobs that are on there now can I just cut them the length I am after? Are they bored through enough to allow for this?

I just modified my oem ones, they are flush in lock-down (now)..

Just had to trim the threaded stem..

Cost = $0.00

& 15 minutes of time..

Threads are very coarse, when you cut the studs, be careful about the threads, cause buggered up & winding the oe plastic knobs on will chew out all the plastic threads.
Course then you could use some some glue or JB Weld, but better if you are careful about the threads..
