If it were me I'd shoot for the 2009 if you can live with a black car.

That price you show looks like it is probably the "employee discount price". Are the dealers themselves kicking in any discount in addition to the GM discount? If not, I think I'd tried to squeeze them just a little perhaps $24K even.

I was a fan of #3

$26,896 MSRP, It is with the employee discount. I was thinkin of getting it for their asking price of $24,476 OTD. And it does have the Brembo upgraded brake package that I read about somewhere.

I have the Cappaucino Frost 2007 and really love the color. It has a metallic hint to the paint job. Should come with the sunroof, roof rails, running boards, two-tone seating, 17" wheels and smoked chrome all around. I really love my car except for the stupid brakes (which are a standard problem on all HHRs) and I have some concerns about some spots which may or may not be rust.

My car listed for $22600 as an '07, and with GM card, discount and rebates I picked it up new for $13700, which is the best deal I ever got on a car. My guess would be that you might be able to purchase your for around $14,000 used with that kind of mileage on it.

Test drive it and hit the brakes a bit and see if it shakes like a plane hitting the landing strip. If so, have them give you new rotors before you buy.

By the way, it should have the 2.4 engine in it, which gives you a bit more power, yet still good gas mileage.

Steve Moore Chevrolet was my 2nd stop this morning, since things didn't go too well with the 1st dealer I went to. I really wanted the '09 the 1st dealer had because it had the Brembo package and every other option, but they were asses, so I moved on and decided the '08 would be a good enough option.:) Well I get to Steve Moore and look at a black HHR. I was a little worried because it was by the used cars section, so I thought maybe it was used, but no. It was a loaded black '09 HHR SS with the brembo/ limited slip package. I knew I wasn't leaving there without it.:) Well, long story short, the guys at Steve Moore made it really easy to purchase my new baby. Big Props to you guys.

Man, do I LOVE this car!!!

This little thing has some balls. I can't wait until I get used to to the steering wheel pulling to left on me. I'm used to rear wheel drive, but I'm gonna enjoy the HHR. This was the best decision I've made in awhile. I can't wait to get her broke in and really drive it like I stole it.:) I'll get some pics.
