i say don't worry about putting so many miles on it. I've never really cared about that stuff but once I moved down here and go to Mich quite often, I have no problem putting 1k on in a long weekend.

As for others driving, I'd say just make sure your insurance covers it and have a good time. I know Mich insurance is a pain in the ass though.

Eric-

I'm well over double your age, & I've driven 20 hrs straight.. And I don't drink coffee either..(or take any funny stuff)...

You need a better excuse not to use your HHR...

A good hi-way cruise is the best thing to get all the HHR juices flowing good.. Around town is the hardest on vehicles..
(& for your Mom) tell her, most accidents happen within 25 miles of home..

Think of all the Fla scenery you can use for more HHR pics..Not to mention the 2 chicks from work...(I'm jealous).....LOL

Well, lets see..
You have the choice of driving two young ladies down to florida for spring vacation and you are considering other choices...

Put the miles on it... If cars were meant to sit the tires would be square...

I've had mine now for a grand total 12 days and have gone from 11 miles to 2200, and that's just my work commute.. The HHR is too fun to drive to leave the good miles for the next owner....

Well it doesn't look like I'll be taking the HHR to Florida...but there's still time for things to change.

On a side note I should be putting quite a few miles on this summer though with all our g2g's! I'm going with my dad and grandpa to Tennessee for a family reunion the last week in July, so I'll have to drive separate and leave a day early to go to OSR on the 31st!!!
