Over the last few days I've noticed when shifting into 2nd gear I seem to lose horsepower. Also the lights dim some when this happens? Anyone else have these problems or know where to start?

My initial though of the lights dimming was possibly something to do with the alternator, so I did a quick search and turns out that others have reported loss of throttle response due to failing alternator. I would say maybe get the alternator tested and see if it's still good and make sure all the connections are good.
