Cool lower grill

Just installede a lower precision grill. My question is this, as you tighten up the two lower brackets the fiberglass that the brackets hold onto bends up, because its flexable-how fa do you take this when snugging up on the brackets? Other than this question it is a pretty easy install.

Which one do you have?
I have one from Truckshop.com and it was different from someone else's in our group who got it on eBay (the look and how it clipped on weren't the same).

I have a Precision Billet one and it does the same thing. I just made sure the upper mounts were nice and tight, then tightened the bottom until it just started pulling up the air dam and stopped. It is still nice and tight and I haven't had any problems in the year or so I've had it.
