So is the difference between the lt and 2lt is struts and springs and shock, or a totally different suspension? Can the lt's or ls suspension be changed to be like a 2lt?
Questions best left for ChevyMgr.

The only differences between FE1 and FE3 are the strut and shock valving and the front sway bar bushing stiffness.Same springs all around, same front bar.

WOW!! Talk about a voice from the past!!

Still got that beautiful amethyst? I still think those shots from your Featured HHR are among the best of ANY that have been featured, including mine! I've had the parts for your window switch mod for two years, just been too lazy to get around to it.

OKay, sorry all, thread hi-jack over!

To determine if yours is a 1LT or 2LT, look at the plaque in the glove box for the APO code FE1 or FE3......

FE1.......Touring suspension.......1LT
FE3.......Sport suspension..........2LT

1LTs can be upgraded to the 2.4 engine, but the suspension can't.
Don't 2LT's also come with T/C and ABS? I have a 1LT without those items, my wife's 2LT has them.

Touring Suspension - LS, 1LT. Softer springs and shock valving

Sport Suspension - 1LT option and std on 2LT. Firmer springs and valving. Also, I think front swaybar as well.

These items are now standard on all 09+ HHRs.

Haha- thanks! Yep, still have the amethyst. I might go for a new HHR soon-- depending how the next couple/few months go. If so, I'll have to see if I can get better shots of the new one.

I'd have replied sooner, but this site isn't working very well for me lately.

Anyway, thanks- I'm happy that someone remembered me!
