Map Lights
Apologize if this has already been answered. I have a 08 LT with map light bulbs that I understand cannot be replaced. Problem is they are so dim that they are of no real use. Can any other year mirror with replaceable bulbs be used in a 08? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Some other mirrors have a different electrical connector, if you match the connectors, they should interchange.
my 2011 2LT doesn’t have lights in the mirror, my 2007 LS did but just a 3 pin connector, I swapped that for a mirror with compass
So, check the connector, if it’s 16 pin you can swap in a mirror from a different GM vehicle with the bulbs, autodim, and such
