I think the companies had a slow seller on the PT crusier die cast so they are slow to want to do a HHR.
The fact they need to sell more diecast than GM has made HHR's hurts. Lets face it how many people own a 57 Chevy or Corvette die cast that have never owned the real thing.
I would say few people outside the ones that own a HHR will ever own one. We have a cool dream car but we are not Lambo poster material for the masses.
With the die cast industry tight on money and many companies failing I would expect them to stick to mostly sure things for the time being.
Heck it took me over 20 years to get a 1/18 Fiero die cast.
