motor trend quote about hhr ss...

motor trend was talking about impala ss but mentioned this also.....

"Chevy won't talk about it yet, but expect an HHR SS with the 2007 Pontiac Solstice's 240-horsepower turbo four next year."

I shall gamble by passing up the spring spec. and wait for 07 ss

A least that's a little bit better source than the internet. I wonder when Chevy will actually anounce it for production?

Honestly I hope they don't come out with an HHR SS model. That will only make me wish I would have waited to buy my HHR. It's too late for me to get into another auto loan. I rather they come out with a GM parts supercharger that won't void the warranty...My 2 cents.

Where are you getting the supercharger from?

I'm betting MT is speaking out of......turn here. My sources say GM has been testing a supercharged HHR at their Colorado test facilities for several months now. I would think they would go blown over turbo in the HHR.

I guess we will all just have to wait and see!

GM has already said that the turbo solstice (and Saturn Sky Red Line) would have 260hp. Are they downrating the hp now to 240? or is that a Motor Trend misprint?

I am also waiting for a supercharger kit for my HHR, preferrably one from GM.

Steve
