MPG dropping? You also?

I thought it was sort of early for the winter blends of gas to be in stations yet but the last 2 fillups I have avg'd 26 and 27 mpg which compared to what I have been getting (30-33 mpg) ..well....sucks

Anyone else in the colder climates noticing a drop?

I've noticed a very slight drop. What I've noticed more is the sudden spikes in the price!

Low twenties all the time these days. My wife does better by 1-2 mpg.

$3.05 /gal at the cheap places now for regular. Add 20-50 cents/gal for premium.. I usually buy premium when it is 20 cents or less more than 86 or 87 octain. The car does seem to get another 1-2 MPG with premium.

Now I did take off the GS intake and MPG MAY have gone down a bit because of that. Dunno... My Odyssey van gets about 21-24 MPG on the highway too. about where the HHR is They even both get around the same MPG around town, 14-17. Go figure. Must be me

Hard to tell with this tank of gas if the mileage will be off since we took a fairly good run on the highway this week.

One thing I do know is that the HHR is not running as well as it has been.

I wonder if those "winter blends" make it this far south. Just ran a 250 mile all highway road trip. Going from Miami to Orlando I got less than 24 MPG, guess Noel's 20 mph head wind didn't help any either. I usually average 32+ for this same trip.

I've dropped from 28 to 24mpg, in the past 2 tanks. Maybe the winter mix?

try putting up with gas prices here.

here in vancouver, canada we are now paying $1.09 a liter. There is a small difference between the canadian gallon versus the american. Lets just multiply that $1.09 by 4= $4.36 a gallon. At one point it was up to $1.20 plus/liter . Its insane how here its goes up and down in price so rapidly. Last week it was 96 cents a liter. It went from 96 cents to 1.09 overnight. Today...who knows! CHECK OUT www.gastips.com

I've noticed my mileage going down lately, I've seen it go down from 26 to 24.5 mpg around town. I think mine is totally related to driving style and conditions though because I've been on the same tank of gas since Oct 6.

I too have noticed the drop in MPG, 30.9 avg to 28.4. What is this "winter mix" you all are referencing. Lived in Michigan most of my life and have not heard of such a thing.
