Also radio stations in Russia are still broadcasting on the old Soviet frequency ranges of 68.5-74 MHz which can only be received on a radio that has been "Down Converted".

Я надеюсь, что эта информация полезна для вас, имеют приятный день моего друга.
Yes, I know about this procedure. It has long been going to do it, but every time circumstances prevented. Sometimes there is no time, sometimes a pity to pay money.
The time will come and I'll do it.

As for the Soviet frequencies - do not think that it still exists. At the very least, does not look massively. To be honest, I've long no heard of these frequencies and could not even see the equipment that operates in this frequency range. Most radio stations is operating in the frequency range of the FM and in the Internet. By the way, I am currently writing this and listening to the radio "Vesti FM" on the Internet.

Have a nice day, my friend. And a pleasant day to you all, guys. You have begins the fun Saturday.
And I'm going to bed, my Saturday is ended.

One other thing you might try Andrey is to check out ebay in the UK or other European countries where HHR's were sold through Chevrolet outlets. Someone might have a head unit for sale that has already been "Down Converted" for European use.

Возможно у вас приятно вечером и приятного воскресенье дорогого друга.
