That's a really cool study that's been around for a little while. Thanks for the reminder of what's important. I gotta fess up, I've been guilty of what you said in the past. Sorry to all, and thanks for the gentle reminder!

I have to admit, I usually get a little miffed when the grammar or spelling is off (and I know I'm not the best either) but I don't usually make it a point to have someone correct it.
I did have a little trouble reading the paragraph at first, but the further I got into it, the faster I was reading and by the end I would say it was almost fluent.
That was an interesting study.

I can read it and understand. I think that's been posted on here before. The one thing I find ironic about really bad spelling on the internet is that every computer can spell check for you and obviously the person is using a computer. There is even a little tab with ABC and a check mark on the forum so you can spell check before you post. That being said I still screw up all the time. Sometimes I type a really fast response and then post. Then when I read my post I realized that I spelled something wrong, typed a couple of letters backwards, left out a word, or one of my sentences doesn't make any sense because I typed something, deleted it, and re-wrote it but left part of my previous sentence. My biggest pet peeve about forums is most people don't seem to understand the difference between allot and a lot so they make up the word alot. That F'in kills me. I can't believe so many people can't get that right!

Misspellings are just a way of life and don't bother me any at all. However, when proper grammar isn't used as well as punctuation, it makes post very difficult to understand, which can lead a lot of misunderstandings.
