Too right.... It's not the spelling that gets to me, its when they use incomplete, on-going, or fragmented sentences. Punctuation is a major factor in how people read things, and should be emphasized greatly.

But I was in the Spelling Bees in 4th and 5th grades... In 5th I placed 9th in the state.... OF WEST VIRGINIA!!

I usually don't bring that up, since it's not a really strong bragging point

Being married to someone who is extremely dyslexic has made me more tolerant of misspelling, etc.

The only time misspellings bother me is when it's in a email from college-educated management personnel. Gee, there's such a thing as spell checker and most have secretaries who proof everything. How can spelling error still get in their messages going out to thousands of employees? Proof read, people, proof read!

If my grammer is really that bad you guys could have just told me. I don't think it was nessecary to create a whole thread to let me know I can't spell, and my grammer sucks

I don't spell check my posts because there has to be a few moments in my life when I just don't care if I make a mistake, but if I notice a mess up that makes my post difficult to inderstand I do fix it.

I read that paragragh like it there was nothing wrong with it, does that mean I'm a geniuos or an idiot?
