You're talking at least 10-20 more HP and another 40-50 Style points.

 

The LS optional tip is not the same as the LT chrome tips. It is a slip on type that looks much different. I do have a stock LT muffler & tip I would sell, but shipping it won't be too cheap (depending on where you live). The LT muffler/tip sound is much deeper than the little 2.2 muffler.

:) Just an update, I got the GM tip from a local chevy dealer, list was $65, talked him into a discount, paid $52. Well built piece, all stainless, fit perfect, looks good.

 

Are you talking about a screw on tip - or a weld on tip like the LT has?

 

This tip was a clamp on with a large stainless bolt. I guess from what this thread is telling us is that the 2.4 has a welded on crome tip that comes standard, and the 2.2 has an optional clamp on tip, does that make sense?
