I know, right? That's exactly what I thought. I don't think he was "thinking" when he posted that.

Rule of thumb...never buy first production vehicles. I made the decision two times in a roll. First was with a 2003 ram Hemi. First year of the Hemi...had three sets of rotors and calipers done before I finally got rid of it with 19k miles. I traded it for a 2005 magnum. Let's see, this car was plagued! I had a moisture problem that caused my windows to fog up to the point that water dripped from the windows. This was a day one problem that could never be pinpointed. Second, something happened with the cam...caused serious top end motor damage...this was at like 3k miles...sunroof went out about 4 months later...and the last draw was when I started having shifting problems with just over 12k miles. Finally decided that the car had to go. I'll never buy a first year production car again!

I guess I got lucky with my '06 HHR. It ran fantastic for 45K except for some shudder on braking.

There was also someone else on here who also sold an HHR and bought a Ford Edge OR Flex or whatever but he still is on here lately but always negatively. If they don't like GM anymore that is fine, that is your choice but don't criticize the car we on this forum like. Go to that forum and say how our cars suck but don't do it here.

Are you sure we can't bring him back for just this thread?

Some people don't have nothing better to do with their time and they aren't happy unless they're complaining. Screw 'em, who cares.... I certainly don't. This forum exists for enthusiasts of the Chevy HHR, not trolls and haters.

That's a lot of repair. I haven't had anything like that on my 06
