My garage floor DIY epoxy project - lots of details and PICS (long)

Garage Epoxy
Redshift,
Nice write up and nice results. I think you did a great job so no worries. I did mine many years ago with a product called Muscle Gloss. With all of the accessories, rollers and paint, my 24x33 garage cost me about $800 plus to do.
I didn't have cracks but did have paint on the floor before. I never did get it all up and that haunts me to this day. Still, defects and all it is a worthwhile project if you work on your car on a floor lots as I do. Compared to all the hot tire peeling that I used to have, life is good today. Never paint your floor with anything other than epoxy!
You will end up tracking in mud and salt and road grime, some of it will stain your floor, but even then it will be so much better than before you did it. If you use jack stands, make sure to weld some large washers to the bottoms of the feet or the car's weight will dig right into your new floor and make you hot.

It wasn't presented as an option, and I don't mind the columns either way. My floor is extra thick and I'm not sure if pre-cast would be viable for residential application (i.e. maybe can't get them in here and placed without ruining my driveway, or other issues) or made in the thickness and material I needed.
