My Surfer Girl's Custom "Blue Krush" HHR (early mods)

My fiance picked up her 2006 Daytona Blue HHR 2LT two months ago.

After meeting some of our locals with the Gateway HHR Club and checking out all the cool rides here on ChevyHHR.net... the modification bug apparently bit her good...

Here's her '06 Daytona Blue HHR the day she drove her home (stock)...

She's been busy customizing her ride over the last couple months.

Here are some of her latest modifications to her "Blue Krush" HHR...

I love the Daytona Blue, one of my all time favorite colors. Is the pin stripe/lettering painted or decal?

Well, heck-fire, you know MITZKITY loves it!! How pretty is she!!!

Cool seat covers - did you guys remove the arm rests?? That's a real bugaboo with getting seat covers around here. So I guess she's got the mod bug all right!

Nice to continue the theme, and what a perfect name for the car - Blue Krush!

Pinstripe and lettering pinstripe are both vinyl...

When installing the seatcovers, she wanted to try the feel without the armrests. After she drove around without the armrests for a day, she said it has a much more sportier feel without the armrests. She hated the limited space and lack of access to the cupholders and parking brake with the armrests on. Feels like an SS manual interior without them...

As for the name Blue Krush... well she loved the surf movie Blue Crush, but decided on the name Blue Krush because of the initials... BK...

`Ôlelo mahalo!

Great looking DBM there. Wish I hadn't had this darn sinus infection on Saturday or I could have seen it in person. Are you going to build a wood floor for the rear deck on this one too?

Aloha...

Hope you're feeling better, dude... we missed ya this last weekend but we'll be getting something together again soon.

Oh yes... she has already put that on my "Kahuna-Do" list...

We'll do a bit of a different design theme and she said she wants me to guide her through the steps so she can do most of it herself...

I love the brake light. I missed that mod on Saturday. Car looks just great. Way to go Angie.
