Name some of these cars.
I took these photos on the main highway just south of Buckeye, Arizona in 1982.
I have heard the yard is completely gone now.

Well Mr. Boyd, I'm going to skip over all the easy ones, and go for the oddballs.
First photo, seventh car in line peeking out from behind the '55 Pontiac is a Nash Metropolitan.
Second photo, it's a '32 Chevrolet truck, the chromed verticle hood vents are a dead giveaway.
Third photo, a 1937 or 1938 Packard Junior Series 120.
Fifth photo, first car on the left, a 1960 Imperial. Not a Chrysler Imperial, the Imperial line was still a seperate entity in 1960.

I got the easy ones and didn't even notice the Metro. What is the 3rd car in the 5th photo. Is that a Willys?

We're old-ish, and Kannapolis was a fairly poor mill town when I was a kid. So today's "Classics", were just used cars back then. We drove 'em, we raced 'em, we wrecked 'em.
Plus, this was a Chevy town mostly, so '55-'57 Chevies were as common as dirt...well all Chevies were as common as dirt. So I skipped the "easy" ones, like the '57's, the '54, the '46.
