Thanks, Deb. Once we get a date hammered out we can look at restaurants, etc and see who is willing to give us a discount. Damon's gave us a 10% discount when we had the Cedar Point Meet.

I will just post this two cents worth. I told Mike this weekend the 1st weekend in August is NOT a good weekend. In Missouri the first weekend in August is tax free for clothing / electronics, school stuff. I was there this year on that weekend and you sat for hours on the highways just trying to get around, everyone was all at the malls.

Lightbulb

Here's is text from an email resulting from a conversation held this morning.

Mike

Thanks for the conversation this morning. I am looking forward to earning your business! We have July 25-26, 2008 held tentatively held for your event at our complex.

Attached you will find a sheet explaining our entire complex and how you can use it to your best planning to make the 2008 event a success for all attending. As I stated the rate will be in the mid $60 range and includes a hot breakfast, work out room and two pools for families to use. As soon as you know roughly how many rooms you will need let me know and I can block them out and get an exact rate.
Here is a link to the flyer which was attached to the email. I hosted it at our local club.

I think this is just what we were looking for. They have enough there that we could stay on site and have fun. But I think some of us, including me will want to see more of Branson.

More importantly, they have experience with car show, have a large complex, the week-end we've discussed is available, and the room rates are very reasonable, and being a new facility, the complex should be nice and clean.

Well, let the discussion begin....................
