If you like to shift gears, get the 5 speed. I have the 2.4, 5 speed, a CGS intake, turbo muffler, and a re-flashed ECM and with the manual tranny it is much quicker than you would think Also, for me the the leather, side curtain air bags, and sunroof were a must. Some people will tell you if you order the sunroof you won't have any headroom. Unless you have a head like Frankenstein you will have plenty of room (I'm 6'3")

After you shop for the options you want Do the Search and see how many are in your area. That may save some time. The Dealers can expan the area also. Mine came from 330 miles away, the dealer flipped the bill to get it here.

Be sure to put them Deer Whistles on the front..."Trust Me" Best Option..

Talking nice taste...

cadman, GREAT TASTE in color, I have had my Summit White since 7/20/06, and I LOVE IT! I have every option except leather, ONSTAR & the 6 disc changer, and I wouldn't change anything about it. I would have loved the ebony interior on the '07, but since it wasn't available in '06 I have the grey which isn't bad at all...
HAVE FUN in your quest to acquire you HHR!!!

also, to hhrmajesty!!!

Yeah I love the summit white, I have a Summit White (Black Stripes) 2003 Chevy S-10 Xtreme.. love the truck, the HHR would be a daily driver. but they would kind of match too.

Good idea!

Well I found 2 with the fogs...one is real close to me..orange with the tan interior..the other one is silver but it is way up in North Conway That is a pretty decent ride...almost 2 hours...not sure I'm sold on the orange though...I have only seen 1 other HHR in my neighborhood and it is orange lol

How hard is it to keep the bright chrome looking good? Is it something that will look pretty bad in a few years? Is it just spiffed up plastic? Easy to scratch?

jx3, you do live in Miami though, where there is NO SALT! WOW, do they LOVE to spread salt here in Illinois!!! I think the snowplow drivers are paid BY THE TON!
Your Daytona Blue looks VERY sharp by the way...
Goose, while I live in THE LAND OF SALT, I believe my bright chrome is keepin' it's original shine with a little help from my protection of choice, Turtle Wax Ice...it seems to be very high quality, I haven't noticed any deterioration in shine each time I have washed her off...

No salt in Miami??
What do you think blows in from the ocean? It's not exactly fresh water.

My choice of protectant is Maguires NXT.
