Havent had a chance yet. Each time I go down to work on my car, I hear it from my wife (playing with your car again-take your kids out, fix this, do that, etc)

WHEN IS IT MY TIME???

I checked the hose Mike pointed out. It is not rubber-it is a hard plastic. I tried gently tugging on it and it didn't budge. I am afraid it may crack if I pull it off. Plus, if it does go to the brake assist, I would rather find another vaccum line, if possible. Although I never had any leak problems, I would hate to lose vacuum off of that line. (Why doesnt the PCV line work like it does on my Saturn?)

I too tried the PCV line and nothing. I disconected that hard plastic line from the sensor and started the car. The engine ran like crap, so It's not for the brakes. Pluged it back in and the car ran good again. I dont know if it will work yet as I don't have a T-fitting big enough to hook up my gauge to it. Looking tomorrow for the right size.

Has anyone found a A-piller pod to fit the HHR. I did find this, but I don't want 2 gauges.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Perri...ayphotohosting

Plus you dont want to block any of your warning lights on the dash.

For my past several cars I simply used a gauge housing with a base and used super strength velcro to attach it on the dash right side infront of the inspection/registration stickers. With the velcro, you can remove it to change the stickers.

I finally got my vacuum gauge connected. The plastic line unsnaps very easily-there is a band around each fitting. Find the little tap and slide it then pull and the line disconnects, leaving a standard hose plug. I used the correct size rubber hose with a 't'. Pep Boys has a fitting with the large hose on each end and the slimmer fitting on the top. I will post photos tomorrow (actually today).
