New 2006 HHR LT Owner - Part # request
Hi everyone: I'm brand new to this Forum, and so far have found almost everything I have needed using the search function. We just picked up a Black 2006 LT for my 16 year-old daughter who just got her driving permit. This one seems to be in great shape with 126,000 miles on it, with a 2 owner clean Carfax, and loads of maintenance & history records. Was hoping someone could supply us with the part number for the plastic cover for the driver's rear seat belt in light grey (14i RPO code) as pictured below. Hoping to grab one from a forum member, or from a wrecked one that no one will be using. Let me know if you have that info.
Regards, and thanks in advance, Rainman.

I guess asking you to scroll to #4 in the thread is too much?
Or use WinZip as suggested on the mediafire page.
Both work for me.
Alternatively, you can go to any of the online GM parts stores and look at their catalogs.
BTW; the fact that part is broken indicates the airbags have deployed.

Don: Thanks, I had tried that earlier this week, and couldn't get it to download, but I tried again and had success now. I've been reading and searching on this forum for almost a month now and found a lot of useful information. Not my 1st rodeo on these forums. Carfax didn't show any airbag deployments, however we know Carfax is only as accurate as the info that is reported to it. Really surprised to learn that a plastic cover like that would indicate a bag deployment, however you guys are the experts, so I am not one to argue.
Thanks again, Rainman.

When the seatbelts lock they yank the plastic bits apart. So I guess not necessarily airbag deployment since it is possible for the belts to lock independently.
But wait! I just noticed that this is the rear seat; no locking belts. Never mind.
